Embroidery is the art of decorating fabric or other materials with designs stitched in strands of thread. Industrial Embroidery machines are driven by computers that read digitized embroidery files created by special software. Machine embroidery is used to add logos and monograms to business shirts or jackets, gifts, and team apparel to mimic the elaborate hand embroidery of the past.
These embroidery machines produce high quality, neatly stitched, multi-colour designs on clothing, caps, towels and bags. The price of embroidery is calculated according to the number of stitches in the design, not the number of colours.
